smile a little...

So is it just me, or does anyone agree...
there does not seem to be one nice person working at the post office???
I agree, you should never judge...and all that wonderfulness...
But ladies...i cant seem to score the help of one single helpful, warm, smiling postal service lady/man/worker...
its always...they know everything, and i am so ignorant for not knowing proper procedures, or i don't have the correct forms filled out the correct and complete way.
Its like, please, help me...i came in, i greeted you with a 'morning!' and a smile. Work with me here! I just wanna get this done with in a calm timely manner...

So i am mailing my first care package,
and anything over 15oz needs a larger, more complicated((not really)) customs form to be filled out and completed. And preferably, this should be done before you reach the ornery lady behind the counter!
Well see this would be easy-peazy if this said lady was willing to say
'miss, you will need to fill THIS white form out to every detail, if you have questions, please let me know'...
happily, i would oblige.
instead, i was handed back my GREEN form, told "THIS IS THE WRONG FORM, YOU NEED THE WHITE ONE...READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, FILL IT OUT CORRECTLY, AND GET BACK IN LINE"...
I am standing there going...what white form? where is it? you want me to get back into THIS line? oh, and Kaylee, leave those boxes alone, lets go....

So ladies...
3 times standing in line, 4 forms, and 45 minutes later...
I was helped by a smiling AWESOME HELPFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE postal service man! Thank you! Hallelujah!!
I finally had the form filled out the complete and correct way to a T!
was scaled, stamped, and paid for...
then i was filled in on all the awesome offerings from USPS.com
and everything that i can do from my home computer, and pick ups at my doorstep.
Also including APO addresses.
THIS is genius!
Thanks to my new found knowledge, the next shipping will be much simpler!
The goods are coming soon my dear husband! i will start the shoppinf for the next one right now since i am a little slow!

HAPPY SHIPPING FOLKS!!

I totally agree. Let's just say if you are mailing anything besides a letter, it totally puts them out. I just want to tell the rude postal worker, you make good money with good benefits, now show me some manners. Glad it all worked out in the end.
Have a great Wednesday!

Always use the post office out by Tacoma Mall! It is in the Bank of America building inside the "Freedom Financial" door!!
