the feeling never goes away

Emptiness that is...

Being without my one and only hunkaburninglove...
it never gets easier.
Not the more you do it, or the longer he is away
or the closer it is to him returning home to us...
The phone calls you get, the letters in the mail,
or the pictures emailed to you...
not even the simplest "i love you more than life" posting on your facebook wall...
the loneliness that only he can fill never goes away.

Until the day that he returns home to us, and our family is together again,
Life does not get any easier. The days do not go by faster.
And the kids don't listen any better!

So.
until that day...the day that we are picking him up
and our arms are around each other
The hole in our lives without him with remain.
We think about you. We talk about you. And we cry being without you.

We will stay strong.
Because we love you, and everything about you.
Everything that you do for us, and for our country.
We love you to no end.
I love you SFC Yost.

Hi Kristen, It is so wonderful to read your blog. Thank you for sharing it with me. I check in often and so enjoy the pics of the kids. They are truly beautiful and their smiles shine through the computer screen. God bless your family. Love, Gina Murphy
