save the last dance for me...

As the deployment approaches...
too close for me to say out loud how close it really is...
We had our last "no kids", just mommy and daddy date night!
And it was perfection!
I really needed a night full of laughs, and good times with my hubby
to help myself distress about said deployment...
Ugh i am really hating that word!!

So with Mucho Mucho thanks going out to Miss Amazing Amy
She took our three children, yes all 3 of them..
Even our 2 month old...
she took them overnight at her house for a sleepover!
Her husband had said he was wondering what it would be like to have 7 kids!
Hope that fulfilled your curiosity on that one Andy!!

Even though i was not very crazy about the idea of leaving
my 2 month old over night...
I was very hesitant...
I finally caved and realized...
Hey, this mommy daddy time is darn important, and i need him all to myself
Pretty much!! I am not gonna lie folks...i am just that selfish!

We had a entertaining dinner at The Iron Chef,
A Japanese tebbenyaki steak house.
Followed by drinks and dancing with friends,
to spinning hits from the 80s at Jazzbones in Tacoma, very cute little place.
And then a couple more stops with friends before the night came to an end!
No, we danced the night away, way way away...passed my bedtime ladies!!

So thank you to the Acton family!
Sign us up for another please!

Hello!!! I am your delinquent flip flop exchange friend! By the time Becca gave us our person, I had left town and had no computer access for over 3 weeks. I hope she let you know that so you weren't wondering what in the world had happened!

I have your fun flip flops and will be mailing them this week. From reading your blog, it looks like you could use a fun surprise in the mail.

I am so glad you got a night alone with your man...there's nothing better!
